Hi... I'm Joseph Perez, CPRW, CJSS. I am a Writing Professional specializing in writing resumes (a.k.a. curricula vitae or CVs) for clients throughout the Pacific Northwest and the entire United States. Is Your Resume ATS-Optimized?

These days Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) are used by virtually every Fortune 500 company to manage their recruitment process and sometimes by small to mid-sized businesses. It shouldn't be so difficult, but writing a resume that can pass through the ATS gate is challenging. In some cases including the wrong information for a search term can immediately eliminate qualified candidates. If your document does not adhere to ATS-compliant practices concerning dates, locations, tables, columns, symbols, accent marks, borders and lines, headers and footers, bullet styles, section headings, etc., you could lose out on opportunities.

Once you decide to get started, I'll send you the special career questionnaire that you are invited to complete and return. The questionnaire is optional so long as we have an in-depth interview. My questions go beyond your work history and invite you to reflect on your short-term and long-term career goals, plus your sense of your distinctive value to employers. Then we'll schedule an interview in-person (Seattle) or over the phone.

When I'm done, I'll provide you with a draft to review. You'll review the resume proof and together we proofread it and make any necessary revisions. Once you have a draft in your hands, get back to me with revision requests if any. If you would like to see a second draft, let me know and I will be happy to make changes.
